Parkland homes are in an amazing neighbourhood in the southeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It was developed in 1974 and named after its proximity to Fish Creek Park as it sits high above the provincial park overlooking the famous Ranche Restaurant and Annie’s Ice Cream. It is bounded to the north by Canyon Meadows Drive, to the east by Bow Bottom Trail and to the south and west by Fish Creek Provincial Park. The community has its own community center which contains a gym, meeting rooms, playschool and kitchen. The community also gets access to a skating rink in the winter (equipped with its own Zamboni) and a frisbee golf course in the summer. Parkland is also close to many incredible shopping locations in the south of Calgary due to its more central location. With three schools that service the area, there are many options for parents with kids.
